Professional Athletes live a life of travel, consistent pressure to perform and public scrutiny. This exposure can cloud an athletes’ sense of self and family. With so much attention devoted to an athletes skills, and little to their lives, family and history, professional athletes’ are beginning to see the value in documenting their personal and family history for future generations.
That’s where JDP Films comes in. We are the professionals that can consult, develop and create a wonderful film to tell the story of their life. We work closely with the athlete and their family to construct a storyboard that will let them share their history with generations to come. We do not create a “sports reel”. We create a film that delves into their family history, their childhood life, and their pathway to success. We interview the people and visualize the timeline of events that make up their unique life.
The films are shot in High Definition and provide a beautiful visual experience for the viewer. We work closely with the athlete and their family so that they can feel a part of the creative process in designing the storyboard that is the roadmap for the final documentary.
The story of their family legacy may be one of the most important gifts that a professional athlete may leave to their family. The stories, memories, and events that may be lost, will live on forever. The family and relatives will be able to add chapters to this history long after the athletes story concludes.
